The ruins of Weymouth Furnace rise from the Pine Barrens in this hand-carved linocut from the Lost in the Pines series. Black ink captures the crumbling furnace walls, chimney, and surrounding pines over loose layers of blue and ochre paint.

Each sheet is painted and printed individually, so the brushwork, color, ink coverage, and texture shift from impression to impression. No two prints are exactly alike.
